DAMP PROOFING We use a damp proofing technique known as Tanking. This essentially involves removing old plaster and attaching a waterproof membrane sheet to the wall or ceiling. Then plastering over the top of it. This technique was originally developed for cellars and basements where damp is at its worst. The advantage of using this system on walls and ceilings above ground is that once it is done it is permanent. Other techniques such as injecting into the wall only lasts a few years and most jobs we do have allready tried these systems and they have failed. .
